Every year in September, the world celebrates one of the distinctive factors of men; the beards. September 3rd is the exact date that men come together to celebrate their masculinity. It's prudent to point out that for the last few years, there have been several challenges put out to men on matters beards. So why do men put so much emphasis on beards? Is it a show of masculinity? One photo with a face masked with beards has been doing rounds today as we celebrate the day, with the tag," with a great beard, comes great responsibility." What does this statement mean?
The great responsibility tag emanates from the baggage that the beard gang carries whose accusations span from harboring a host of bacteria in his beard to being a playboy, presumably because women find them attractive. This inculcates a sense of responsibility because they can't go around with every woman who falls for them. They need to take charge of their body and take control of the third tail. Bearded gang exhibit a confident sense of masculinity. Bearded men are also considered to be more manly. They have more dominance and as you all know, dominance comes with responsibility.
As you celebrate this day, know that a beard has a cost. Take care of the beard and be the man the beard makes people think you are. Happy world beards day
