As I get Old

They told us it was just a number, but the reality is that age is more than just a number. It marks a significant change in our bodies and lifestyles. Some get wise as they age, whilst foolishness abounds in others. As I get older, I have come to realise several things. 1. Simplicity wins. As you age, you realise that the minimalistic principle is the best. You crave simple things in life, provided that you can meet your needs. 2. Friends, even the close ones, will not stay in your life forever. The energy diminishes as you age. 3. The most important relationship is not the one you have with your children or spouse, but with yourself. 4. Nobody cares about your hard work, but the results. 5. Heartache and failure are normal. 6. Truthfulness becomes a habit 7. Quality over quantity. 8. The difference between 20 and 40 is not 20. Time really flies when you are 20 years. 9. Petite always wins.

6. Truthfulness becomes a habit

7. Quality over quantity.

8. The difference between 20 and 40 is not 20. Time really flies when you are 20 years.

9. Petite always wins. So, when choosing your partner, get yourself a beautiful petite one.

10. December is not as exciting as it used to be.

11. As a man, at some point in life, your son will hate you."

12. Life is not fair. Just because you are ‘good’ doesn’t mean you will get everything you want or stop bad things from happening to you. Just pick yourself up and make the best life with what you’ve got.

13. Speaking to oneself is normal.

14. Nobody cares. Live life.

15. Health is important.

What is Your Treasure?

A few years ago when I was in college, we had a discussion with my friends on what mattered to each one of us. Someone was asked, in the event of a fire, people drowning, or even an Earthquake, and you happen to be with the whole of your family in that situation, who or what would you save? Say you had your parents, sisters, brothers, your laptop, money, gold, wife, and children, who or what will you save? I want to pose the same question to you. Who or what will you save? I know how tricky it is. I do understand because it wasn't easy for us too. Somehow some of us felt like we would save our parents, and in the order of priority mom the dad, whereas some claimed that they would save their children. But again, I love my wife. She is the mother of my children. If I save my children and let their mother drown or get burnt, how will my children view me? Were it not for my parents, I wouldn't be here, I also do love them. In all honesty, they would be the first ones to be saved. ...

Are You a Man Under 30 Years? Here are 9-Under-30-Years Commandments

9 Advices to a Man Under 30 Years  Growing up, I never had the privilege to get advice from a 30-year-old man on what awaited me when I hit the third floor. I guess growing up with a career dad did not do me all the good but he did his part by ensuring that we had a comfortable life. I therefore had to figure things out myself after getting to 30 years old. Here are my lessons that might also help you. 1. Until you have defined what life is, never commit to a woman. 2. Do not take long before you move out of your parents' house. Even as you do this, always be ready to go back when things do not work out, because at some point in life, you will need to rethink and restrategise. 3. If you have an income in your 20s, use that money to build yourself. If you are into land, buy as much as you can. I always tell my students, if at any point in life, you have the resources but do not know where to invest, just go and buy a piece of land.  4. Do not spend more than two years in a job ...

16 Mind Hacks of Smart people

Ever wondered why you would find two people, and the most successful of them was not good in school? The difference is street smartness. These people have understood that life is a game, and human psychology has the upper hand in these streets. Master the art of influence, understand manipulation techniques, and navigate street life like a pro. Here are ten dark psychology tricks and mind hacks that make you conquer the streets. 1. Always trust your gut. Never ignore your intuition if something feels wrong. 2. The use of first names increases intimacy and connection. Nobody cares about your surname unless it has some political significance. 3. When negotiating, ask open-ended questions. This encourages detailed answers. 4. Do not die in your own cocoon. Ask for a favour. It increases your likability. 5. Confront your fears. Understand that you did not have it before, so you have nothing to lose but something to gain. 6. Even if you do not like your dental structure, just force a smile....
